Expats around the world are flocking to download a new money app designed with them in mind.
deVere Vault makes managing money across different currencies easier for anyone living an international lifestyle.
Figures from deVere group, a leading financial firm for expats, forecasts more than 40,000 users will download the app by the end of the year.
“We recognised the niche and knew there would be significant demand for deVere Vault. However, the level of interest we’ve seen over the past month has been somewhat astonishing,” said deVere CEO and founder Nigel Green.
“We expect the level of interest to continue gaining ground over the next few months as more people travel the world over the summer period, as well as one of the major players in the market unpredictably scrapping its similar product, just before the summer holidays get underway.”
Soft launch
Green explained four drivers are contributing to the app’s success;

- Money apps and FinTech smartphone and tablet apps are booming in popularity due to convenience

- More people are tech savvy and eager to use apps
The deVere Vault app started as a soft launch beta test with a selected group of clients out of the more than 80,000 expats the firm has worldwide.
Eight out of 10 downloaded the app – around 2,000 people – and more than two-thirds regularly log in to manage their money.
