Nearly 50 Qualifying Recognised Overseas Pension Schemes (QROPS) opened for transfers in from UK onshore pensions and other QROPS in the past two weeks.
The latest QROPS List published by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) details 759 pensions offered in 37 financial jurisdictions worldwide.
Despite concerns voiced by some advice firms over the eligibility of Canada QROPS, the number of pensions available in Canada rose from 65 to 69.
No financial jurisdictions were delisted or added to the list and no QROPS closed for transfers.
Guernsey opened the largest number of QROPS with 10 offshore pensions for expats added to the list.
Seven new pensions were listed in Germany, five in Ireland, four in Canada, Jersey and the Netherlands, two in France and Italy and one each in Denmark, Hong Kong, the Isle of Man, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Malta, Mauritius and Sweden.
The Isle of Man is the financial centre offering the most QROPS – 192. Jersey takes second place with 78, closely followed by the other Channel Island financial centre Guernsey with 74.
The next list from HMRC is due on August 15, 2015.
