deVere Vault – the expat money app – has become even more user friendly by adding cards for partners and children.
The e-money app now comes with companion cards to extend the account benefits to family and friends.
Vault customers can order up to three extra cards tied to their account.
Feedback from account holders demanded the financial services company made extra cards available for children and partners spending overseas.

Shared benefits
“A significant number of existing deVere Vault users were so impressed by the value of managing, spending and receiving money anywhere in the world without hassle and excessive exchange rates, that they wanted to share the benefits with their nearest and dearest.
“As such, client demand has driven deVere Vault to launch companion cards. Primarily, users were telling us that they wanted to give a card to their child or children for when they go out, or perhaps when they go travelling overseas, or to a spouse for living expenses or travel costs.
“We listened and developed companion accounts, which allow the primary account holder to control and manage the funds on the additional Vault accounts all within their secure Vault app. The companion then has all the associated advantages of having a deVere Vault card.”
Companion cards work by letting account holders add up to three youth or adult cards and preload them with cash. Youth and adult cards can have set spending limits and cannot receive cash other than from the main account.
Only the primary user can authorise a transfer to a companion card.
Empowering app
deVere Vault was launched a year ago for expats. The service allows clients to spend, receive, store and transfer money in up to 27 different currencies and at competitive exchange rates.
Transactions are in real-time.
The account comes with a prepaid MasterCard for spending at thousands of outlets worldwide.
The deVere Vault app is available for Apple and Android.
