WPS Advisory To Help MPs With Retirement Money

deVere Group retirement planners have a prestigious new role on a panel helping with pension advice in Westminster.

The planners are consultants for WPS Advisory (WPSA), a specialist retirement advice firm that already counts many FTSE100 company pension schemes as clients.

WPSA is one of around 100 businesses trading under the deVere Group banner and the winner of last year’s ‘Best Retirement Advisory – United Kingdom’ industry award by Pan Finance International.

Announcing the deal, Nigel Green, CEO and founder of deVere Group, praised the work of the WPSA managers, advisers and staff, who were taking the company from ‘strength to strength’.

He said: “The opportunity for WPSA to potentially advise members of the MPs pension scheme if this is what they require in making key decisions, via signposting within the guidance journey being provided by a third party, is testament to the culture, integrity and culture of skill of our firm.

Proud Achievement

“We’re incredibly proud that the firm, which is an integral and influential part of deVere Group as we deliver our focus on quality advice across our global business, has been recognised in such a prestigious way.

Green went on to explain why he thought WPSA had won the Westminster contract.

“WPS and deVere are defined by our culture of client-centric focus, a passion for best client outcomes, quality of product, technology and the importance of regulation,” he said.

“This agreement, alongside all of the other contracts awarded to WPSA by some of the largest employers and pensions schemes in the UK, is designed to deliver considerable benefits to UK MPs as they consider their options.

“Of course, as a strong, sizeable and well-resourced parent company, we ensure WPSA has the support, resources and expertise it needs to be a successful and leading part of our group.

High-Quality Retirement Advice

“The work of WPSA in the UK, the standards it sets, its innovation in favour of consumers allows us, the deVere Group, to strengthen our position as the most regulatory robust international financial advisory organisation in the world.”

“In a highly competitive market with evolving regulatory requirements, changing market conditions and shifting client expectations, WPSA consistently delivers above and beyond to those who trust them with their retirement planning.

“This is evidenced by the calibre and size of firms and pension schemes, many of whom are amongst the very largest in the UK, who trust us to provide high-quality retirement advice to their employees, former employees and scheme members.”

deVere Group specialises in bespoke financial advisory, retirement planning insurance, low-cost investment solutions, asset management, online banking and pioneering fintech, amongst other areas.

Extra Money Services For Expats

Recently, deVere Group launched the pioneering OneYou app, which helps clients stay in touch securely with their money 24/7. The app supports communications between advisers and clients.

“You can message us from whenever you need to and wherever you are,” says a spokesperson. “And we can respond quickly and efficiently without the concerns of messages getting lost in spam or being read by prying eyes.”

The app also allows for documents to be shared and signed digitally.

The deVere Group CEO concludes: “WPS Advisory’s enviable reputation for delivering outcomes-driven financial advice is galvanised by being officially named as one of the two-panel appointments to help British MPs.

“With WPSA, we’ve gone from a concept to an award-winning business listed in the top 100 financial advisers in the UK, and consistently securing prestigious advice contracts within just a year, focused on retirement advice via the workplace. And we have only just started. We are going to make a real, positive difference.”
