deVere Group CEO Nigel Green is making a habit of making red carpet entrances to award ceremonies with two more nominations in the bag.
deVere Group, one of the world’s largest financial advice firms with more than 50 offices serving 80,000 customers, is in the running for the prestigious International Investment Best Best-Practice trophy.
Nick Rapley, chief executive at Open Door Media Publishing Ltd, the company organising the awards, said: “These prestigious awards were originally launched in 1999 and are now in their seventeenth year.
“The awards recognise and reward the best funds and products across a range of different categories. Congratulations to all of the finalists, and good luck on the night.”
Best financial advice
Green is also nominated in the category for International Personality of the Year.
“This is a new category recently introduced for the awards and I am proud to have received the nomination,” he said.
The voting result will be revealed at the awards dinner at London’s four Seasons Hotel in October.
deVere has already won an award as Best Global Independent Financial Advisory Organisation 2016 at the Business Excellence Awards , while Green was lauded for an outstanding contribution to the industry in the Finance Monthly CEO Awards 2016 .
