A new face is taking over the helm in Europe for one of the world’s leading financial services companies.
James Green will move into his new chair for deVere Group from June 5.
As a chip off the block, he will report directly to his father – the firm’s CEO and founder Nigel Green.
A fully qualified and experienced wealth manager in his own right, James will take the reins as the firm’s Head of Western Europe and oversee a drive into the major British expat destinations of Spain, France, Germany, Italy and Switzerland that will include the opening of two new offices.
The IFA company already has 13 European offices stretching from London to Budapest, Hungary, and Warsaw, Poland.
Reboot in Western Europe
“One of the decisions we have made, based on the strategic review of our corporate structure and operating units is to extensively expand and develop our already solid position across Western Europe,” said Nigel Green.
“This expansion and development of the region is now a major priority for the organisation for the rest of 2017 and beyond.
“We’re set to shake-up the Western Europe market place. Of that, I am confident.
“Underscoring our commitment to this move, we’re committing extra investment and resources to Western Europe. This will include expanding our existing bases in Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland and Italy and opening at least two more offices in the region.

James Green has a degree in business studies and has worked as a financial adviser in Barcelona, Spain, Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates and Doha, Qatar.
